Intro to Composting

The Science of Composting
  • Learn about the balance of browns (carbon) and greens (nitrogen) for effective composting.
Composting Myths
  • Discover why properly made compost shouldn’t smell bad.
Materials for Composting
  • Explore common backyard or food "waste" items and their ideal composting ratios.
Additional Composting Methods
  • Learn about compost tea and other techniques to enhance your compost.
Benefits of Compost
  • Understand how compost improves soil structure, promoting healthier plants.
